Maverick Country Music Magazine Review 2010

Stevie Jones & Mark Gill Featuring Sean Clutterham. 'Live at The Musician Leicester'.

Popular midland duo caught live at the famed musician in Leicester. Stevie Jones and Mark Gill have been treading the boards in the East Midlands area, and if there is any justice within the music industry they would by now be gaining the recognition they richly deserve.
Stevie is a great song writer songs such as "Wildfire" and "Chasing Rainbows" are superb compositions and if not made a hit by Stevie and Mark then the songs should be picked up by established performers to record.
Mark Gill is a guitar player of the highest order..!! His dexterity on the fret board should have been gracing the bigger stage long before now.

Recorded at the Musician in Leicester July 2009 in front of a packed house you get to hear 9 songs all from the pen of Stevie Jones apart from a superb version of the Bap Kennedy Penned "Sweet Irish Rose". On this track we also hear just how proficiant a guitarist Mark Gill is, the applause after his solo truly justified.
Stand out cuts are "Weather the storm" "Give it back" and the above mentioned "Wildfire" and "Chasing Rainbows" Joining the pair on stage as guest musician Sean Clutterham on Harmonica, a fine player himself adding just the right amount of light and shade on several of the tracks.

Apart from hearing the 9 tracks we also get the bonus of viewing the show as the CD is accompanied by a seperate DVD of the nights festivities, this all making for a very attractive overall package. Excellent Stuff
