To close 2015 December we did a gig at Kennedys in Finedon - a tribute for our late friend Stevie Paul - and it featured Mark Gill on guitar. It was great to have the extra layer of sound  we created on  ‘Stratigraphic Heart’ and give the songs full live justice.  Mark wasn't able to commit and I started thinking about recruiting a fourth member.  January 2016 I had seen a local musician – a Greek guitarist called Vassilis Dimitradis advertising looking to join a band. I’d actually seen him busking with his girlfriend some months earlier and knew he was busy on the open mic circuit with a good reptuation. I dropped him a message and sent him the song links and chords over. I remember sitting on his bed in his room in a shared house in Northampton going through the songs and being blown away that he’d learned all the parts and nailed them immediately. Without full band rehearsal he joined us for a gig at Gaz Birtles Song Club showcase night at The Donkey Leicester in February and he fitted in perfectly.

We had quite a busy gig itinerary that year still promoting the album at various venues and festivals mainly in the East Mids. For some gigs Lou was unable to make it. We recruited a friend Richard Day from Dust and Debris to stand in for a couple of shows – one being the digital release in April 2016 which was at the legendary Nags Head in Wollaston where John Peel had put on gigs in the 70s and early 80s.  We also draughted in our friend Bob Dabrowski who I’d met through my Wildfire Sessions Open Mics. Bob had actually already depped for us on bass once before in 2014 at our first time at The Zombie Hut so knew some of the songs.

I’d been listening to less of Americana and more rock and grunge and it was seeping into my influences. Newer songs ‘Whitewash’ and ‘Neon Underground’ had a heavier feel as we debuted them which suited Vassilis and Jakes rock backgrounds but a direction Lou was a little less comfortable with. Lou had by then also been recruited by the tribute band Genesis Connected who had major touring commitments ahead, It made sense to amicably part ways and we asked Bob if he’d step up and join us full time and he joined in November 2016.  A new era had begun.
