ABOUT - Stevie Jones and The Wildfires
Northamptonshire's Stevie Jones and The Wildfires provide a unique blend of acoustic-driven rock with down to earth, infectious songs. Their 2016 acclaimed debut album ‘Stratigraphic Heart’ received favourable reviews and after a busy year promoting with radio, press and a string of live appearances they have emerged from Deadline Studios, Leicester to reveal the follow up titled 'Angels and Sirens‘.
The line up now features Stevie Jones (guitar/vocals), Vassilis Damitriadis(guitar), Jake Patrick (drums), Bob Dabrowski (bass) with regular guest Autumn Dawn Leader on piano and vocals. LA guitarist Janet Robin (String Revolution, Lindsay Buckingham Band) and top Leicester harp player Sean Clutterham also provide album guest appearances. The 13 tracks are split between hard-edged guitar based songs and more delicate acoustic arrangements that touch on a broad range of influences - think maybe Counting Crows, Stone Temple Pilots, New Model Army and Ryan Adams.
Rounded off by some excellent production by Adam Ellis 'Angels and Sirens' will take you on a very real journey through life, sex and love with some gritty, honest songwriting,
'the hybrid sound of pleasure'

‘wordy lyrics with rootsy Rock music. Acoustic guitars underpin the songs, but there’s some fiery electric guitar to be found as well....a bright and energetic album..’
Duncan Jamieson, Rocktopia, Fireworks Magazine
‘A hint of Counting Crows, The Long Ryders, Stone Temple Pilots and the band’s long time heroes New Model Army...Timeless wistfulness combined with rollocking rhythms keeps the album cooking from end to end’.
